Hot Tub Filter Compatibility Chart

We recommend rinsing your pleated filters with a high-pressure hose nozzle once every 2 to 4 weeks. Once a month, soak your pleated filter overnight in a specialized filter cleaner degreaser. Standard pleated filters should be replaced every 12 months. EcoPur Charge mineral filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months for maximum water purification.

Master Spas utilize a dual-core filtration system. The outer pleated filter (such as 6CH-940) traps physical debris and particulates, while the inner EcoPur Charge mineral cartridge releases micro-levels of copper and zinc oxides. This naturally purifies the water, controls scale build-up, and reduces chlorine consumption by up to 75%.

Alberta water has high mineral content. Start with SpaGuard Stain & Scale Control when filling your spa. First balance your Total Alkalinity (80-120 ppm), then adjust pH (7.2-7.8), and finally add your sanitizer (Chlorine or Bromine at 3-5 ppm). Use our Taylor or SpaGuard test strips weekly to maintain optimal balance.
