Line & Letter Spacing

• Comfortable Spacing: Automatically expands line height (1.85) and letter spacing (0.035em) to provide ample breathing room between words and sentences.

Visual Contrast & Color Modes

• High Contrast: Converts pages to stark black text on a clean white background with 2px dark structural borders around cards, dialogs, and interactive buttons.
• Inverted (Dark Mode): Inverts colors for low-light browsing while automatically protecting images, videos, and product photography so visuals remain natural.
• Monochrome: Converts all colors into 100% grayscale for users sensitive to vibrant saturated hues.

Cursor & Navigation Assists

• Large High-Contrast Cursor: Replaces the default mouse pointer with an extra-large 36px dual-tone black-and-white cursor, making the pointer easy to track on 4K and large displays.
• Highlight Links & Buttons: Adds bold high-contrast underlines and yellow highlight badges to all hyperlinks and buttons, making click targets immediately obvious.
• Enhanced Focus Rings: Displays a prominent 3px bright cyan ring with a 3px offset around whichever element currently has keyboard focus.
• Reading Mask / Guide: A horizontal focus ruler that follows your mouse pointer to help guide your eyes across lines of text without losing your place.

Motor & Sensory Comfort

• Reduced Motion: Instantly pauses non-essential animations, smooth-scrolling routines, and transitions for users with vestibular sensitivities or motion-induced dizziness.
• Mute All Media: A single-click sensory control that instantly silences and pauses all background video and audio elements on the site.

3. Keyboard Navigation & Assistive Technology

• Skip to Main Content: Pressing Tab upon landing allows you to bypass repetitive navigation menus and jump directly to the primary page content.
• Logical Tab Order: All links, forms, buttons, and drawers follow a predictable, intuitive reading sequence.
• Focus Trapping: When opening modals (such as the Cookie Preferences dialog or Accessibility Panel), keyboard focus is locked inside the dialog and can be closed anytime by pressing the Escape key.
• ARIA Semantics: Screen readers announce landmarks, button states, expanded/collapsed accordions, and dialog roles accurately.

4. Privacy-First Accessibility Preferences

All adjustments you make in our Accessibility Panel are saved locally in your browser’s localStorage. We do not track, collect, or share your personal health or accessibility preferences. Your settings will automatically apply whenever you return to World of Spas on this device.
